Common use of Assignment Notification Clause in Contracts

Assignment Notification. Every effort shall be made to notify teachers no later than April 30th of any change in teaching assignment for the next school year, including the school or schools to which they will be assigned, the grade and/or subject they will teach, and any special or unusual classes which may require special preparation beforehand. When changes in assignment are necessary, the preferences of the individual teacher with respect to grade and/or subject assignment will receive the fullest consideration.
