Assignment Considerations Clause Samples

Assignment Considerations. Subject to the provisions of this contract, the University agrees to provide Resident with space in a Residence Hall. Room assignments are made based on the date of the housing registration, information provided in the housing registration, availability, submission of the signed contract, submission of the housing registration fee and initial housing payment, and other considerations. The foregoing list is not exhaustive. University Housing cannot guarantee it can meet all requests or assign compatible roommates. False information provided in the housing registration may be grounds for reassignment within, or removal from, University Housing.
Assignment Considerations. 39 Drivers and transportation assistants will receive assignments with consideration given to the 40 starting and ending time of the assignment, not to exceed forty (40) hours per week. Changes 41 in daily assignments or portions of assignments will be made periodically as necessary for 42 efficient operation.
Assignment Considerations. Subject to the provisions of this contract, the University agrees to provide Resident with space in a Residence Hall. The University will attempt to accommodate Resident’s space preferences; however, the University does not guarantee assignment to a particular building, transfer, type of accommodation, specific roommate, or single room.
Assignment Considerations. The District shall, in making assignments, consider the qualifications, interests and aspirations of employees, as well as the needs and best interests of the District. The way to achieve this is to facilitate input and communication at several steps in the assignment process between supervisor and employees. The Health Services supervisor will work with District nurses in the Spring to determine staff assignments based on need, with the supervisor taking into consideration number of cases and the complexity of cases each employee would have, with the supervisor having final approval.
Assignment Considerations a. A Reserve Flight Attendant may be assigned during his or her Reserve Shift period to a trip or Ready Reserve assignment no earlier than 0001 ET two (2) days prior to the day of the trip’s check-in time or the start of Ready Reserve assignment in accordance with Section 8.M. b. Crew Scheduling will consider the contact period when assigning a trip. If the duty time of the trip (prior to the first ensuing rest period) to be assigned plus the amount of time already passed from the commencement of the contact period exceeds sixteen (16) hours, the Crew Scheduler may move to the next Reserve Shift period. A Crew Scheduler will not be required to assign a Flight Attendant at the end of an earlier Reserve Shift when such trip can be better assigned to a Flight Attendant in the next Reserve Shift period and eliminate concerns of safety due to length of time already available.

Assignment Considerations a. A Reserve Flight Attendant may be assigned during their Reserve Shift period to a trip or Ready Reserve assignment no earlier than 0001 ET two (2) days prior to the day of the trip’s check-in time or the start of Ready Reserve assignment in accordance with Section 8.M. The Company will meet with the union scheduling committee at its request to discuss the application of this provision. Example: A Flight Attendant is available on Reserve ‘C’ (0701-1700). At 1400, a Crew Scheduler has trip #706, DTW-LAX, with a Show Time of 1930 and a Release Time of 0600. Because the Flight Attendant in Reserve ‘C’ started their notification period at 0701, this amount of time plus the duty time of the trip prior to an ensuing rest period exceeds sixteen (16) hours, the Crew Scheduler may move to the next available Flight Attendant in Reserve ‘D’.

A Crew Scheduler will not be required to assign a Flight Attendant at the end of an earlier Reserve Shift when such trip can be better assigned to a Flight Attendant in the next Reserve Shift period and eliminate concerns of safety due to length of time already available.[LOA #18, Reserve Duty Time - 3/1/07]
