Assessments and Accountability. The University and its implementation of the enhanced authority granted by Article 4 of the Act and this management agreement, and the board of visitors policies attached hereto as Exhibits A through F, shall be subject to the reviews, assessments, and audits (i) set forth in the Act that are to be conducted by the Auditor of Public Accounts, the Joint Legislative Audit and Review Commission, and the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia; (ii) as may be conducted periodically by the Secretaries of Finance, Administration, Education, or by some combination of these three Secretaries; or (iii) as otherwise may be required by law other than the Act.

  • LIABILITY AND ACCOUNTABILITY The Provider, if a non-profit entity, will provide continuous and adequate director, officer, and employee liability insurance coverage against any personal liability or accountability by reason of actions taken while acting within the scope of their authority during the existence of this Agreement and any renewal and extension thereof. Such coverage may be provided by a self-insurance program established and operating under the laws of the state of Florida.

  • Fiscal Accountability A. SUBRECIPIENT shall establish and maintain a sound financial management system, based upon generally accepted accounting principles. SUBRECIPIENT’s system shall provide fiscal control and accounting procedures that will include the following:

  • Financial Accountability 6.1 The Recipient must ensure that the requirements set out in this Agreement, and in any clarification or guidance issued from time to time by the Authority, are complied with. In particular the Recipient shall:

  • Accountability 5.3.1 Actuaries and external auditors will be appointed by the Trust. Audited financial statements, and an actuarial evaluation report will be obtained for the Trust on an annual basis. The actuarial report will include projections regarding the adequacy of contributions to cover projected benefit and related costs for the Trust for a period of not less than 3 years into the future.

  • Service Accountability Agreements The HSP acknowledges that if the LHIN and the HSP enter into negotiations for a subsequent service accountability agreement, subsequent funding may be interrupted if the next service accountability agreement is not executed on or before the expiration date of this Agreement.

  • Health Care Accountability Ordinance If Administrative Code Chapter 12Q applies to this contract, Contractor shall comply with the requirements of Chapter 12Q. For each Covered Employee, Contractor shall provide the appropriate health benefit set forth in Section 12Q.3 of the HCAO. If Contractor chooses to offer the health plan option, such health plan shall meet the minimum standards set forth by the San Francisco Health Commission. Information about and the text of the Chapter 12Q, as well as the Health Commission’s minimum standards, is available on the web at xxxx://xxxxx.xxx/olse/hcao. Contractor is subject to the enforcement and penalty provisions in Chapter 12Q. Any Subcontract entered into by Contractor shall require any Subcontractor with 20 or more employees to comply with the requirements of the HCAO and shall contain contractual obligations substantially the same as those set forth in this Section.

  • A Service Accountability Agreement This Agreement is a service accountability agreement for the purposes of section 20(1) of LHSIA.

  • Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act Grantee certifies that it is in compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA), Public Law Xx. 000-000, 00 XXX Parts 160, 162 and 164, and the Social Security Act, 42 USC 1320d-2 through 1320d-7, in that it may not use or disclose protected health information other than as permitted or required by law and agrees to use appropriate safeguards to prevent use or disclosure of the protected health information. Grantee shall maintain, for a minimum of six (6) years, all protected health information.

  • Federal Funding Accountability and Transparency Act Requirements A. Any recipient of funds under this agreement agrees to comply with the Federal Funding Accountability and Transparency Act (FFATA) and implementing regulations at 2 CFR Part 170, including Appendix A.   • Federal Funding Accountability and Transparency Act (FFATA Subrecipient shall comply with the requirements of 2 CFR part 25 Universal Identifier and System for Award Management (XXX). Subrecipient must have an active registration in XXX, xxxxx://xxx.xxx.gov/XXX/ in accordance with 2 CFR part 25, appendix A, and must have a Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) number xxxxx://xxxxxx.xxx.xxx/webform/ Subrecipient must also comply with provisions of the Federal Funding Accountability and Transparency Act, which includes requirements on executive compensation, 2 CFR part 170 Reporting Subaward and Executive Compensation Information.
