Common use of Asbestos eradication Clause in Contracts

Asbestos eradication. Asbestos eradication is defined as work involving the removal or any other method of neutralisation, of any materials, which consist of, or contain, asbestos. Any FTM involved in asbestos eradication or removal shall receive a rate of pay equivalent to not less than that of lagger and a special rate of $1.48 per hour in lieu of all other special rates prescribed in this clause with the exception of Hot, Cold and Swing Scaffold.
