Common use of Asbestos Abatement Liability Insurance Clause in Contracts

Asbestos Abatement Liability Insurance. including coverage for liability arising from the encapsulation, removal, handling, storage, transportation, and disposal of asbestos containing materials. *This requirement applies if the Work or the Project includes asbestos containing materials. The combined single limit for bodily injury and property damage will be a minimum of $1,000,000 per occurrence. *Specific requirement for claims-made form: Required period of coverage will be determined by the following formula: continuous coverage for life of the Contract, plus one (1) year (to provide coverage for the warranty period), and an extended discovery period for a minimum of five (5) years which shall begin at the end of the warranty period.
