Common use of Application/Duration Clause in Contracts

Application/Duration. The NES and this agreement contain the minimum conditions of employment for employees covered by this agreement. For existing employees, this Agreement will take effect, 7 days after approval by FWA, and for new employees it will take effect from the day of commencement of employment. The Agreement will have a nominal expiry date of 30 June 2013. After the expiry date, the Enterprise Agreement will continue to be in force until it is replaced by a new Agreement, terminated by agreement between the parties, or is terminated on application by one of the parties, to FWA.
