Faculty Council. An elected faculty council will be established in each school building consistent with Board Policy.
Faculty Council. A. In each building there shall be a Faculty Council (“FC”) comprised of unit members, Association building representatives, administration, and staff selected by administration. FC members shall be solicited as volunteers.
Faculty Council. Upon formal request from the Association President to the Superintendent, a council will be established to review and discuss teacher assignments and class loads. A council shall be comprised of the Association President, one (1) Association representative, a central office administrator, and one (1) representative appointed by the Administration.
Faculty Council. 7.2.1 Faculty Council Purpose A Faculty Council (FC or Council) shall be established in each school of the District to facilitate communication between the faculty and the school site administration. The FC shall be the site faculty decision-making team. Purposes of the FC are:
Faculty Council. 19.10.10 There shall be a Faculty Council composed of all full-time faculty members, the Library Chair (or a Professional Librarian Member designated by the Library Chair) and one representative of the part-time or sessional instructors. The Formation Directors appointed by the denominations that relate to AST will be invited to participate in the Faculty Council as corresponding members. The Xxxx shall be chairperson of the Faculty Council and have a vote. The President shall be an ex officio member of the Faculty Council.
Faculty Council. A. In each building there shall be a “School Faculty Council,” including the building administrator, an NDEA building representative, and not less than three (3) nor more than seven (7) unit members, as elected by the building staff at the opening faculty meeting.
Faculty Council. All Members, whether or not they are currently teaching, shall be voting members of Faculty Council, except in the case of votes for those representative positions on Senate or the Board of Governors already designated for regular faculty and for those positions on committees under the collective agreement of the regular faculty members.
Faculty Council. The faculty council will meet once each semester to discuss options for the calendar to be recommended to the Board. Amended during 1997-98 committee process, effective July 1, 1998. Amended during 2018-19 Negotiations – Item A # days changed from 186 to 182.
Faculty Council. The Faculty Council is a working group whose purpose is to implement the school improvement plan, support the operation of the school, and serve in an advisory capacity to the school principal. As a function of this purpose, the Faculty Council will determine the use of release time on the Early Release Choice Days designated by the District Master Calendar. The Faculty Council shall meet monthly at a minimum and other times as needed.
Faculty Council. A. The parties to this Agreement recognize that, in the school of contemporary America, cooperation away from the bargaining table is necessary to be successful in improving the educational climate of our schools, and to further the parties’ joint goals of productivity and satisfaction in education. Therefore, the Board, the Administration, and the Association agree to establish a joint advisory committee, the Faculty Council, for the Ironton City Schools.
