Common use of Alt Clause in Contracts

Alt. The Parties undertake to attempt to resolve disputes arising from this Agreement through amicable negotiations. If differences of opinion arise that cannot be resolved by persons at operational level, negotiations at management level may be initiated between the Parties. If the Parties concerned fail to resolve the dispute through negotiation, the dispute shall be referred to the Government for final and binding decision.
