Common use of Allowable Duty Days Clause in Contracts

Allowable Duty Days. The maximum number of duty days allowed to be utilized by one (1) employee for a single injury/illness shall not normally exceed twenty (20) duty days. The number of sick bank days needed by the employee shall be specified in the request. The employee may request up to twenty (20) additional days by filing and additional request for consideration by the Catastrophic Leave Bank Committee. Any days approved by the committee but unused by the employee shall be returned to the Catastrophic Leave Bank. No employee shall receive more than forty (40) days for single injury/illness from the Catastrophic Leave Bank.
