Common use of Alcohol and Other Drugs Clause in Contracts

Alcohol and Other Drugs. Regardless of a person’s age, the manufacture, sale, transfer, purchase, transportation, possession, use or consumption of alcohol (in any form), and/or possession or display of empty alcohol beverage containers anywhere on NDSCS owned or controlled property and/or sponsored or supervised events is prohibited. Students may face campus charges for alcohol related incidents occurring off campus. Such incidents include, but are not limited to: minor in possession/consumption/under the influence of alcohol, driving under the influence of alcohol, public consumption of alcohol, and providing alcohol to a minor. Possession, consumption, being under the influence, or transport of illegal drugs or any other controlled substances is prohibited except pursuant to a physician’s, dentist’s or other authorized medical personnel’s prescriptions. The manufacture, exchange, distribution, purchase or sale of illegal drugs or controlled substance is prohibited. The possession of drug paraphernalia for illegal drug use is prohibited as well.
