Common use of Agent of the Tenant Clause in Contracts

Agent of the Tenant. Any payments in respect of or on account of Rent made by or drawn on accounts other than those of the Tenant named in this Agreement will be accepted by the Landlord as payment made by or on behalf of the Tenant only and in no circumstances shall constitute the creation of a new tenancy to any other person.
