Common use of ADJUSTED HOURS Clause in Contracts

ADJUSTED HOURS. 13.1 A regular, full-time employee in the classified service with an average, regular work week of fifty-six (56) hours shall be eligible for one hundred twelve (112) hours bi-weekly pay when the employee is at work or on leave with pay for all regularly scheduled work shifts during the pay period. Such employees on leave without pay shall have twenty-four (24) hours deducted from the one hundred twelve (112) hours bi-weekly pay for each work shift not worked during a pay period. Such employees appointed other than at the beginning of a pay period, or separated other than at the end of a pay period shall be paid for actual hours worked or a maximum of one hundred twelve (112) hours, whichever is less.
