Additional Work Hours. a. Paid holidays and other paid temporary leave such as sick leave days will not be considered hours worked for the purpose of determining additional work hours in a workweek. b. The parent educator’s supervisor and the administrative supervisor will request from time to time one-on-one meetings and staff meetings at the Shawnee Mission Early Childhood Education Center or at the Center for Academic Achievement, three working days in advance, except in an emergency situation. If an emergency occurs, an attempt shall be made to inform the parent educator as soon as possible. c. Rotating additional work assignments among qualified parent educators is the responsibility of the supervisor, and shall be done in a fair manner.
