Additional City Emergency Paid Sick Leave Allocation Clause Samples

The 'Additional City Emergency Paid Sick Leave Allocation' clause establishes an employer's obligation to provide extra paid sick leave to employees during a city-declared emergency, such as a public health crisis. This clause typically specifies the amount of additional leave granted, eligibility criteria, and the circumstances under which employees can use this leave, such as illness, quarantine, or caring for affected family members. Its core function is to ensure employees have sufficient paid time off to address health and safety needs during emergencies, thereby supporting public health measures and reducing financial hardship for workers.
