Common use of Adaptation Clause in Contracts

Adaptation. If a provision of the Contract contravenes a law, it must be interpreted, as the case may be, to bring it into conformity with the law or, failing that, in the manner most likely to respect the intention of the parties without derogation from prescriptions of this law.
