Acting Assignment Pay. 130. a. Employees assigned by the Sheriff or designee to perform a substantial portion of the duties and responsibilities of a higher classification shall receive acting assignment pay if all of the following conditions are met: (1) The assignment shall be in writing; (2) The position to which the employee is assigned must be a budgeted position; and (3) The employee is assigned to perform the duties of a higher classification for longer than ten (10) consecutive working days.
