Common use of Accidental Dental Emergency Clause in Contracts

Accidental Dental Emergency. If you sustain injury to whole or sound teeth including filled or restored teeth and require dental treatment commencing within thirty (30) days of the date of Accident we will reimburse you, up to a maximum of two thousand five hundred dollars (CAD 2,500) Special Provisions: Treatment must be provided by a dentist; Crowned or capped teeth shall be considered whole or sound teeth; No benefit will be payable for costs incurred for the replacement, adjustment or repair of artificial teeth or dentures; any orthodontic treatment; or any dental treatment provided solely for cosmetic or aesthetic reasons. This benefit applies secondary to your primary health insurance provider.
