I will not try to use any programmes or software that might allow me to bypass the filtering / security systems in place to prevent access to such materials. • I will not install or attempt to install programmes of any type on a machine, or store programmes on a computer and understand that all software should be appropriately licenced. • I will not disable or cause any damage to school equipment, or the equipment belonging to others. • Where digital personal data is transferred outside the secure local network, it must be encrypted. • I understand that the GDPR policy requires that any staff or student / pupil data to which I have access, will be kept private and confidential. • I will immediately report any damage or faults and loss of data to an appropriate person. I understand that I am responsible for my actions in and out of the school: • I understand that this Acceptable Use Agreement applies not only to my work and use of school ICT equipment in school, but also applies to my use of school ICT systems and equipment off the premises and my use of personal equipment on the premises or in situations related to my employment by the school • I understand that if I fail to comply with this Acceptable Use Agreement, I could be subject to disciplinary action. Sporting Activities Opportunities will arise for your child to be involved in sporting activities in and around the school site and within the South Wales area. I understand will only use my school email address.  I will make sure that all ICT communications with pupils, teachers or others is responsible and sensible.  I will be responsible for my behaviour when using the Internet. This includes resources I access, the language I use and items that I should not write down or store a password where it is possible that someone may steal itforward. I will not deliberately browse, download, upload or forward material that could be considered offensive or illegal. If I accidentally come across any such material I will report it immediately report to my teacher.  I will not give out any illegalpersonal information such as name, inappropriate phone number or harmful material address. I will not arrange to meet someone unless this is part of a school project approved by my teacher.  Images of pupils and/ or incidentstaff will only be taken, stored and used for school purposes in line with school policy and not be distributed outside the school network without the permission of parents, carers or staff.  I become aware ofwill ensure that my online activity, to both in school and outside school, will not cause my school, the appropriate personstaff, pupils or others distress or bring into disrepute.  Will report damaged equipment to  I will respect the ICT support staff privacy and ownership of others’ work on-line at all times.  I will not attempt to repair any damage. The school and the local authority have the responsibility to provide safe and secure access to technologies and ensure the smooth running of the school: • I will not use personal email addresses when communicating with pupils and parents. • I will not try to upload, download or access any materials which are illegal (including but not restricted to child sexual abuse images, criminally racist material, adult pornography covered by the Obscene Publications Act) or inappropriate or may cause harm or distress to others. I will not try to use any programmes or software that might allow me to bypass the Internet filtering / security systems in place to prevent access to such materialssystem. Acceptable Use Agreement. I understand that I must use school ICT systems in a responsible way, to ensure that there is no risk to my safety or to the safety and security of the ICT systems and other users. I will, where possible, educate the young people in my care in the safe use of ICT and embed E-Safety in my work with young people including my ‘Prevent’ duty. For my professional and personal safety: Keeping Safe • I understand that the school will monitor all my use of the ICT systems, email Internet and other digital communicationsrelated technologies can be monitored and logged and can be made available, on request, to my Line Manager or Headteacher. • I will only use my own user names and passwords which I will choose carefully so they cannot be guessed easily. Passwords will have a minimum of 6 characters including capital letters and numbers. • I will not use any other person’s user name and password. • I will not give out my own personal details, such as mobile phone number, personal email address, personal Twitter account, or any other social media link, to pupils. • I will ensure that I ‘log off’ after my network session has finished. • If I find an unattended machine logged on under another user’s username, I will not continue using the machine – I will ‘log off’ immediately. • I will ensure that my online activity, both in school and outside school, will not bring my professional role or the school into disrepute. • I will not accept invitations from school pupils to add me as a friend to their social networking sites, nor will I invite them to be friends on mine. • As damage to professional reputations can inadvertently be caused by quite innocent postings or images, I will also be careful with who has access to my pages through friends and friends of friends, especially with those connected with my responsibilities as a member of staff, such as parents and their children. • I understand that data protection requires that any personal data that I have access to must be kept private and confidential, except when it is deemed necessary that I am required by law or by school procedures to disclose it to an appropriate authority. • I will only transport, hold, disclose or share personal information about myself or others as outlined in the school personal data guidelines. I will not send personal information by email as it is not secure. • Where personal needs to be sent by email outside the secure school network, it must be sent securely.
