AARP APPROVAL Clause Samples

The AARP Approval clause establishes that certain actions, agreements, or changes within a contract require the explicit consent or authorization of AARP, the American Association of Retired Persons. In practice, this means that before a party can proceed with specific decisions—such as subcontracting, modifying terms, or implementing key project changes—they must first obtain written approval from AARP. This clause ensures that AARP maintains oversight and control over important aspects of the agreement, thereby protecting its interests and ensuring that all significant developments align with its standards and objectives.
AARP APPROVAL. All written communications and all scripted oral communications specifically directed to AARP members, whether insured or uninsured members, and all other written communications sent on behalf of AARP to any of such persons, shall be submitted by United to AARP for AARP's approval in advance of dissemination which approval shall not be unreasonably withheld with respect to any communication required by Applicable Law.
