4x10 Work Week. The Company may, upon advance notification to the Union and to affected employees, schedule employees to work a schedule consisting of four (4) consecutive shifts of ten (10) hours within the period Monday through Friday. If a 4x10 work week is implemented on the third shift, those shifts will be within the period Monday through Thursday. In the event the Company institutes a 4x10 work schedule, the following shall apply:
