2003 Benefit Changes. This paragraph is included in this MOU for historical purposes only and has no force and effect during the term of this MOU. Effective July 1, 2003, City agrees to amend the Municipal Code to provide Safety Member retirement status for Police Recruits on day one of the police academy.
