ENVIRONMENT. The products must comply with the environmental protection acts and regulations and standards in force in the European Union. During the product design and its packaging and/or during the selection of materials, the Supplier undertakes to take any useful or necessary measure to comply with the legal or regulatory requirements concerning environmental protection. The Supplier undertakes to allow NPL to conduct any audit regarding the level of protection from fire and environmental protection in the Supplier’s premises, and to implement any measure recommended by NPL at the end of such audits, without discharging the Supplier of its obligations and liabilities.
ENVIRONMENT. The products must comply with the statutes, regulations and standards in force within the European Union with regard to the protection of the environment. In designing a product and its packing and/or selecting the relevant materials, the Supplier undertakes to take all the measures that may be useful or necessary to meet the statutory or regulatory requirements regarding environmental protection. The Supplier undertakes to authorise SIA to carry out any due diligence review in the latter’s premises with regard to fire safety and environmental protection and to take all the measures recommended by SIA following completion of the said reviews, on the understanding that this shall not release the Supplier from its obligations and responsibilities.
ENVIRONMENT. The Supplier must conduct its activities in an environmentally friendly manner and comply with all laws and regulations in force in the country of manufacture or delivery of the products or services concerned. It undertakes to continually minimize the impact of its activities on the environment (energy, water, waste, chemicals, air pollution, climate change …) and set objectives and targets for reducing these impacts. The Supplier shall promote environmental responsibility within its company and encourage the development and use of technologies aimed at minimizing all environmental impacts throughout its subcontracting and supply chain. The Supplier must have relevant environmental and operating permits and, upon first request, be able to provide them.
ENVIRONMENT. The supplier is entirely responsible for any dangerous materials or materials whose use produces dangerous residue or waste, which the supplier brings onto the site of GROUPE ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ INC. to execute any work. The supplier shall take all necessary precautions in order to ensure that the handling of these materials on the site of GROUPE ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ INC. is done in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. In the event that any employee of the supplier or of a sub-contractor fails to comply with the obligations hereunder, GROUPE ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ INC. may, after a preliminary oral notice to that effect given to that employee and a written notice to the supplier, remove that employee upon his or her second violation hereof. In the case of serious fault, expulsion may be immediate and without notice.
ENVIRONMENT. In the performance of its obligations under this PO, the Supplier declares and undertakes that it and its sub-contractors shall respect and observe (federal, provincial and municipal) government regulations applicable to the protection and conservation of the environment.
