Voluntary Leave definition

Voluntary Leave. Unless otherwise stated in the following sections, voluntary leave shall be granted for a minimum period of four months and a maximum period of five years. Voluntary leave entitles the worker to preferential rights regarding reincorporation into the Institution, to fill any vacant position of the same category as may arise, provided that a desire to reincorporate has been expressed in writing, three months prior to the conclusion of the leave. Examples of Voluntary Leave in a sentence

  • The following Scheduled Unpaid Leave Plan (SULP) replaces the current Voluntary Leave of Absence program (VLAP) and is available to all permanent employees for the 2015-2016 and 2016-2017 school years.

  • By reference, the definitions, eligibility criteria and administrative provisions pertaining to a Voluntary Leave Transfer Program are incorporated into this Agreement.

Related to Voluntary Leave

  • Military Leave means leave subject to reemployment rights under the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act of 1994, as amended from time to time.
