  • A violation of the Virginia Motor Vehicle Emissions Control Law, any provision of this chapter or any permit, license, certification or order shall be cause for a notice of violation to be served on the alleged violator, citing the applicable provisions of the Virginia Motor Vehicle Emissions Control Law, this chapter, the permit, license, certification requirement or order, or any combination thereof involved, and the facts on which the alleged violation is based.

  • The existence of a permit, license or certification under this chapter shall not constitute a defense to a violation of the Virginia Air Pollution Control Law, the Virginia Motor Vehicle Emissions Control Law or this chapter and shall not relieve any owner of the responsibility to comply with any applicable regulations, laws, ordinances and orders of any governmental entities having jurisdiction.

  • Sections 46.2-1176 through 46.2-1187.3 of the Virginia Motor Vehicle Emissions Control Law (Title 46.2, Chapter 10, Article 22 of the Code of Virginia) requires a "test and repair enhanced emissions inspection program" for vehicles that have actual gross weights of 10,000 pounds or less and are registered in the Counties of Arlington, Fairfax, Loudoun, Prince William, and Stafford, and the and the Cities of Alexandria, Fairfax, Falls Church, Manassas, and Manassas Park.

  • Commercial motor vehicle means a motor vehicle or combination of motor vehicles used in commerce to transport passengers or property if the motor vehicle:

  • Used motor vehicle dealer means a person that is engaged in the business of purchasing, selling, exchanging, or dealing in used motor vehicles and that has an established place of business in this state at which it conducts that business. The term does not include a new motor vehicle dealer purchasing, selling, exchanging, or dealing in used motor vehicles as part of its business of purchasing, selling, exchanging, or dealing in new motor vehicles.

  • State Water Control Law means Chapter 3.1 (§62.1-44.2 et seq.) of Title 62.1 of the Code of Virginia.

  • New motor vehicle dealer means a person, including a distributor, that holds a dealer agreement granted by a manufacturer, distributor, or importer for the sale or distribution of its motor vehicles; is engaged in the business of purchasing, selling, exchanging, or dealing in new motor vehicles; and has an established place of business in this state.

  • Uninsured motor vehicle means a land motor vehicle or trailer of any type:

As of the date of this provision, state sponsors of terrorism include: Iran, Sudan, and Syria.

  • Child in need of services means (i) a child whose behavior, conduct or condition presents or results

  • Regional economic integration organization means an organization constituted by sovereign States of a given region to which its member States have transferred competence in respect of matters governed by this Convention and which has been duly authorized, in accordance with its internal procedures, to sign, ratify, accept, approve or accede to this Convention;
