SONIA means, in respect of any Business Day, a reference rate equal to the daily Sterling Overnight Index Average rate for such Business Day as provided by the administrator of SONIA to authorised distributors and as then published on the Relevant Screen Page or, if the Relevant Screen Page is unavailable, as otherwise published by such authorised distributors in each case on the Business Day immediately following such Business Day;
Modern Slavery Laws means all applicable modern slavery laws, statutes, regulations and codes from time to time in force which prohibit the exploitation of workers, human trafficking, slavery, servitude, forced labour, debt bondage or deceptive recruiting for labour or services or similar, including but not limited to the Modern Slavery Act and the Modern Slavery Act 2018 (NSW);
COPPA means the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act, 15 U.S.C. § 6501- 6505.
Tabarru ” means donation for the purpose of solidarity and cooperation among the Takaful Participants and to be used to help all Takaful Participants in times of misfortune. In the context of the Company, Tabarru’ will be allocated into the Participants’ Risk Fund.
SORA means, in respect of any Singapore Business Day “i”, a reference rate equal to the daily Singapore Overnight Rate Average published by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (or a successor administrator), as the administrator of the benchmark, on the Monetary Authority of Singapore’s website currently at http://www.mas.gov.sg, or any successor website officially designated by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (or as published by its authorised distributors) (the “Relevant Screen Page”) on the Singapore Business Day immediately following such Singapore Business Day “i”; and
