UPE Membranes definition

UPE Membranes means microporous membranes produced from an ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene material by a melt cast process, as produced pursuant to the Old Agreement at the Premises immediately prior to the Effective Date, or as modified as provided in this Agreement.
UPE Membranes means microporous membranes produced from an ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene material by a melt cast process, as produced by Millipore at the Premises immediately prior to the Separation Date, or as modified as provided in this Agreement.

Examples of UPE Membranes in a sentence

  • Following the expiration or earlier termination of the Term of this Agreement, Millipore desires the full capabilities to manufacture (or have manufactured) UPE Membranes for its and its Affiliated Companies’ use and sale, and for its and its Affiliated Companies’ use in manufacturing (or having manufactured) UPE Products for sale.

  • If one party funds the purchase of additional equipment for use in manufacture of UPE Membranes at the Premises, that equipment shall be owned by the funding party.

  • Membrane filtration means a pressure or vacuum driven separation process in which particulate matter larger than 1 micrometer is rejected by an engineered barrier, primarily through a size-exclusion mechanism, and which has a measurable removal efficiency of a target organism that can be verified through the application of a direct integrity test. This definition includes the common membrane technologies of microfiltration, ultrafiltration, nanofiltration, and reverse osmosis.

  • Structural components means liners, leachate collection systems, final covers, run-on/run-off systems, and any other component used in the construction and operation of the MSWLF that is necessary for protection of human health and the environment.

  • Uppermost aquifer means the geologic formation nearest the natural ground surface that is an aquifer, as well as lower aquifers that are hydraulically interconnected with this aquifer within the facility's property boundary.

  • Polystyrene foam adhesive means an aerosol adhesive designed to bond polystyrene foam to substrates.

  • Soil texture means proportion by weight of sand, silt, and clay in a soil.

  • Fabrication means making up data or results and recording or reporting them.

  • The Works/Project means the works to be executed or done under this contract.

Infrastructure improvements also include 1 or more of the following whether publicly or privately owned or operated or located on public or private property:

  • Graffiti shall not include: (1) any sign or banner that is authorized by, and in compliance with, the applicable requirements of the San Francisco Public Works Code, the San Francisco Planning Code or the San Francisco Building Code; or (2) any mural or other painting or marking on the property that is protected as a work of fine art under the California Art Preservation Act (California Civil Code Sections 987 et seq.) or as a work of visual art under the Federal Visual Artists Rights Act of 1990 (17 U.S.C. §§ 101 et seq.). Any failure of Contractor to comply with this section of this Agreement shall constitute an Event of Default of this Agreement.

  • Antenna coating means a coating labeled and formulated exclusively for application to equipment and associated structural appurtenances that are used to receive or transmit electromagnetic signals.

  • Carpet Area means the net usable floor, area of an Flat/Apartment, excluding the area covered by the external walls, areas under services shafts, excluding balcony or verandah area and exclusive open terrace, but includes the area covered by the internal partition walls of the flat/apartment;
