Tow dolly.. “Tow dolly” means an auxiliary axle assembly equipped with a tow bar and used to tow a motor vehicle be- hind another motor vehicle. [1991 c.284 §3]
Tow dolly. means a vehicle towed by a motor vehicle and designed and used exclusively to transport another motor vehicle and upon which the front or rear wheels of the towed motor vehicle are mounted, while the other wheels of the towed motor vehicle remain in contact with the ground. "Tow dolly" does not include a portable or collapsible dolly.
Tow dolly. means a trailer equipped with one or more axles designed to connect to a tow bar on the rear of a motor vehicle that is used to tow another vehicle and is not a type of towable equipment as defined in this Chapter. The front of rear wheels of the towed vehicle are secured to and rest upon the tow dolly.
