Outages definition

Outages means the planned unavailability of transmission and/or generation facilities dispatched by PJM or the NYISO, as described in Section 35.9 of this Agreement.
Outages means the planned unavailability of transmission and/or generation facilities operated by the Parties, as described in Article VII of this Agreement.

Examples of Outages in a sentence

  • Outages will be reported immediately and all efforts will be made to have them restored as soon as possible.

  • Seller shall use its reasonable commercial efforts in accordance with Good Utility Practice to not plan Scheduled Outages during the following periods: June 1 through September 30.

  • Scheduled Outages, in aggregate, shall not exceed seven (7) days during any Contract Year.

  • If the aggregate hours for Outages exceed the Outage Allowance in a given Contract Year, Seller shall reasonably estimate the amount of electricity that would have been delivered to Purchaser during such excess Outages and Purchaser shall pay Seller for such amount in accordance with this Agreement.

  • Purchaser is not obligated to accept or pay for electricity from the System for Outages up to the annual Outage Allowance.


More Definitions of Outages

Outages means unplanned service interruptions that temporarily prevent access to major functions of the production platform.
Outages means the planned or unplanned unavailability of transmission and/or generation facilities.
