SWITCHING WORK. A supervisor seeking to switch to a day off will be permitted to 23 switch days off within the same work week no more than three times a bid. A supervisor 25 switched work. For purposes of this Article switching days off 30 and/or shifts requires two employees to participate in the switch so that the switch does 31 not interrupt continuity of coverage for shifts bid. 33 SWAPPING WORK: A supervisor seeking to swap work will be permitted to swap work 34 within the same work weekday no more than three times a bid. A supervisor who agrees 35 to a swap initialized by another supervisor will not be counted as having swapped work. 37 Supervisors can only swap work with equal amounts of scheduled hours with another 38 employee, on the same day. 40 For purposes of this Article, swapping work requires two employees to participate in the 41 swap so that the swap does not interrupt continuity of coverage for shifts bid. 43 Employees who agree to swap are subject to ensuring coverage on the agreed upon 44 shifts. All swaps must be requested on the proper swap form and submitted prior to start 45 of the shift for approval. 46 Article 26: Scheduled Work Week/Location 49 WORK TIME: 50 When the COMPANY’s work facilities are located at more than one (1) site, all employees 51 will be allowed to bid at least annually in December on the facility at which they desire to 52 work. The number of employees, number of classifications by shift, and number of work 53 assignments for each different work location will be determined by the COMPANY. A list 55 their annual work location based on Classification Seniority. Once the bid has been 56 completed, employees will be required to work at that facility for an entire year unless a 57 reduction in service requires the COMPANY to re-evaluate the number of employees 58 needed at the facility. In such case, a new facility bid will be initiated.
