Surface Improvements definition

Surface Improvements means all surface works located on public lands in the vicinity of the Lands and includes, but is not limited to, carriageways, curbs, gutters, catchbasins, sidewalks, boulevards and streetlighting.
Surface Improvements means sidewalks, curbs, gutters, driveways, catch basin leads, paved roads, paved walkways, pathways, paved lanes, graveled lanes and overland drainage facilities, or any of them;
Surface Improvements means all those Municipal Improvements defined under Article I, Clause 13, (g), (h), (i), (j), (q), (s) and (t) of this Agreement.

Examples of Surface Improvements in a sentence

  • The Construction contract for the Broadway Pier Surface Improvements shall be administered by the Port and the Agency’s payment for such improvements shall be deposited with the Port in installments as invoices are approved and paid by the Port on the Construction contract for the Broadway Pier Surface Improvements.

  • The Developer agrees to complete the landscaping within Said Lands according to the approved Plans prior to the issuance of a Final Acceptance Certificate for Surface Improvements for Said Lands.

  • In addition to the First Phase Construction, the Agency, acting through CCDC, and subject to the Agency and the City making any required findings under applicable law, shall fund up to One Million Dollars ($1,000,000) of the Design and Construction of the Broadway Pier Surface Improvements.

  • Notwithstanding the foregoing, and provided the Port has not already entered into a Construction contract for the Broadway Pier Surface Improvements, the Port shall not be obligated to construct, and the Agency, acting through CCDC, shall not be obligated to fund the Broadway Pier Surface Improvements if the enhanced surface public improvement costs (including Design, material and installation costs) in the area east of the building exceed One Million Dollars ($1,000,000).

  • The Port shall present the Design for the Broadway Pier Surface Improvements to the Authority Board for Design review and comment.

  • The Developer agrees that it shall complete the Surface Improvements, excluding the final lift of asphalt on roads, within any stage approved under the provisions of Article IV, Clause 2 within two consecutive construction seasons of the date of the execution of the Development Agreement, unless an extension of time is requested by the Developer and granted by the Engineer as set forth in writing.

  • All Surface Improvements must adhere to CVWD’s Development Design Manual and Landscape Ordinance, as amended from time to time.

  • If the Surface Improvements or the installation or use thereof cause damage to the Drainage System, City and City’s successors, assigns and successors-in- interest to the City Property shall reimburse any cost incurred by CVWD in repairing such damage.

  • If the Surface Improvements or the installation or use thereof cause damage to the Irrigation System, Developer and ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇’s successors, assigns and successors-in-interest to the Developer Property shall reimburse any cost incurred by CVWD in repairing such damage.

Related to Surface Improvements

  • Site Improvements means any construction work on, or improvement to, streets, roads, parking facilities, sidewalks, drainage structures and utilities.

  • System improvements means capital improvements to public facilities which are designed to provide service to a service area.

  • Private Improvements means the improvements to be constructed on the Property that are not Public Improvements.

  • Infrastructure Improvements means a street, road, sidewalk, parking facility, pedestrian mall, alley, bridge, sewer, sewage treatment plant, property designed to reduce, eliminate, or prevent the spread of identified soil or groundwater contamination, drainage system, waterway, waterline, water storage facility, rail line, utility line or pipeline, transit-oriented development, transit-oriented property, or other similar or related structure or improvement, together with necessary easements for the structure or improvement, owned or used by a public agency or functionally connected to similar or supporting property owned or used by a public agency, or designed and dedicated to use by, for the benefit of, or for the protection of the health, welfare, or safety of the public generally, whether or not used by a single business entity, provided that any road, street, or bridge shall be continuously open to public access and that other property shall be located in public easements or rights-of-way and sized to accommodate reasonably foreseeable development of eligible property in adjoining areas.
