Specialty Allowance. Effective January 1, 2022, members assigned by the Chief of Police to the following specialty assignments shall receive Specialty Allowance in the amount of $1000 per year. Such compensation shall be pro-rated for members not performing the function for the entire year. For greater clarity, members on a leave of absence, including Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability or in a temporary accommodation shall have their compensation pro-rated. Specialty Allowance in 2.01 (q) shall be compensated as follows, a lump sum payment paid the first pay in February following the year in which it was incurred. Pyramiding of Specialty Allowance in 2.01 (q) shall apply at 50% of rate for second assignment/allowance and 25% of rate for each additional assignment/allowance.

Related to Specialty Allowance

  • PHARMACY ALLOWANCE means the lower of:

  • Utility Allowance means a monthly allowance, as provided by the local public housing authority or as otherwise allowed by HUD rules and the GLO rules, for utilities and services (excluding telephone services) to be paid by the tenant.

  • NOx Allowance means an authorization to emit a specified amount of NOx that is allocated or issued under an emissions trading or marketable permit program of any kind that has been established under the Clean Air Act or a state implementation plan.

  • Preferred Allowance means the amount a Preferred Provider will accept as payment in full for Covered Medical Expenses.

  • Retirement allowance means the retirement payments to which a member is entitled.
