Small Business Preference Commitment. This section is applicable if Contractor received a small business preference in connection with this Agreement. Contractor’s failure to meet the small business commitment set forth in its bid or proposal constitutes a breach of this Agreement. Contractor must within sixty (60) days of receiving final payment under this Agreement report to the JBE the actual percentage of small/micro business participation that was achieved. If Contractor is a nonprofit veteran service agency (“NVSA”), Contractor must employ veterans receiving services from the NVSA for not less than 75 percent of the person-hours of direct labor required for the production of goods and the provision of services performed pursuant to this Agreement.

  • Veteran’s Preference In the employment of labor (excluding executive, administrative, and supervisory positions), the contractor and all sub-tier contractors must give preference to covered veterans as defined within Title 00 Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Xxxx Xxxxxxx 00000. Covered veterans include Vietnam-era veterans, Persian Gulf veterans, Afghanistan-Iraq war veterans, disabled veterans, and small business concerns (as defined by 15 U.S.C. 632) owned and controlled by disabled veterans. This preference only applies when there are covered veterans readily available and qualified to perform the work to which the employment relates.

  • Call Back Number A telephone number that can be used by the PSAP to re-contact the location from which a 911/E-911 Call was placed. The telephone number may or may not be the telephone number of the station used to originate the 911/E-911 Call.

  • Hiring Preference 1. In all hiring for bargaining unit positions, the Company shall, subject to its obligations under applicable equal employment opportunity laws and regulations, give consideration, to the full extent of interest, to the direct relatives (children, children-in-law, step-children, spouse, siblings, grandchildren, nieces and nephews) of Employees and retirees of the Company who meet reasonably established hiring criteria.

  • Shift Preference 200 Shift preference will be granted on the basis of seniority within the classification as openings occur. The transfer to the desired shift will be effected within two (2) weeks following the end of the current pay period within which a written request is made, provided the employee can do the work.

  • SMALL BUSINESS PARTICIPATION AND DVBE PARTICIPATION REPORTING REQUIREMENTS a. If for this Contract Contractor made a commitment to achieve small business participation, then Contractor must within 60 days of receiving final payment under this Contract (or within such other time period as may be specified elsewhere in this Contract) report to the awarding department the actual percentage of small business participation that was achieved.   • Domestic Preference 5. The Borrower may grant a margin of preference in the evaluation of bids under international competitive bidding in accordance with paragraphs 2.55(a) and 2.56 of the Procurement Guidelines for domestically manufactured Goods.

  • STAFF COMMITMENT 23. If this Settlement Agreement is accepted by the Hearing Panel, Staff will not initiate any proceeding under the By-laws of the MFDA against the Respondent in respect of the facts set out in Part IV and the contraventions described in Part V of this Settlement Agreement, subject to the provisions of Part IX below. Nothing in this Settlement Agreement precludes Staff from investigating or initiating proceedings in respect of any facts and contraventions that are not set out in Parts IV and V of this Settlement Agreement or in respect of conduct that occurred outside the specified date ranges of the facts and contraventions set out in Parts IV and V, whether known or unknown at the time of settlement. Furthermore, nothing in this Settlement Agreement shall relieve the Respondent from fulfilling any continuing regulatory obligations.
