Single Source Generic definition

Single Source Generic means a drug that is manufactured by and available from only one generic pharmaceutical manufacturer. “Multisource Generic” means a drug is manufactured by and available from more than one generic pharmaceutical manufacturer.
Single Source Generic means a Covered Drug as determined by CorVel that may not have been purchased by pharmacies at standard Multi Source Generic Drug rates because of limited manufacturers, limited supply or exclusivity rights. In the adjudication process, the Customer’s Brand Drug AWP Discount value may be applied to Single Source Generic Drugs.
Single Source Generic means a generic with one manufacturer, regardless of exclusivity status.
