SICKNESS DEFINED definition

SICKNESS DEFINED. “Sickness” means sickness or disease sustained by a Covered Person which first manifests itself after the Effective Date of this Policy, and which causes loss while this Policy is in force. “Sickness” shall also be deemed to include all sicknesses or diseases suffered concurrently.

  • speech and language disability means a permanent disability arising out of conditions such as laryngectomy or aphasia affecting one or more components of speech and language due to organic or neurological causes.

  • Short-Term Disability means short-term disability as defined in the Corporation’s short-term disability plan.

  • FBF Definitions means the definitions set out in the June 2013 FBF Master Agreement relating to transactions on forward financial instruments as supplemented by the Technical Schedules (Additifs Techniques) as published by the Fédération Bancaire Française (together the FBF Master Agreement) as may be supplemented or amended as at the Issue Date.

  • Defined Person" shall mean and include an individual, a partnership, a joint venture, a corporation, a trust, an unincorporated organization and a government or other department or agency thereof.

  • Disability Date means, in relation to a Participant, that date determined by the Board to be the date on which the Participant experienced a Disability.
