service rig means rig machinery and ancillary equipment specifically for the use of working over, completing, recompleting and/or servicing wells;
service rig means a piece of apparatus that can be driven long spans within the well sites for servicing and maintenance purposes. Usage of service rigs becomes extremely important in productive wells when it comes to ensuing periodic maintenance. Apart from cleaning a well or replacing its components, a service rig is also required when a well shuts down.
