School intervention definition

School intervention means a process to turn around a persistently low-achieving school that is chosen by a school council, a superintendent and a local board of education, or the commissioner of education, or the commissioner's designee with approval of the Kentucky Board of Education.
School intervention means a process to turn around a persistently low- achieving school that is chosen by a school council, a superintendent and a local board of education, or the commissioner of education, or the commissioner's designee with approval of the Kentucky Board of Education. Upon designation of a school as a persistently low-achieving school, the superintendent shall notify parents of children enrolled in the school of the designation and the school interventions options available.
