Company’s workforce means the persons (and the dependants of those persons) engaged whether as employees, agents or contractors in the construction and operation of the facilities to be established pursuant to approved proposals;
BPSS means the recognised standard for HMG for staff vetting which comprises verification of (1) identity, (2) employment history, (3) nationality and immigration status (including the right to work), and Criminal Records Bureau check (including a five (5) year address history check).
WorkSafeBC means the Workers Compensation Board, a provincial Crown corporation created pursuant to the Workers Compensation Act (British Columbia);
Custom Initiative means those projects that are not Standard, Retro-commissioning, or Streetlighting Initiatives. Projects that are found on New Construction Lighting, Metering & Monitoring, and Feasibility Study are also part of the Custom Initiative.
Team means a team affiliated to a Club, including where a Club provides more than one team in the Competition in accordance with the Rules.
