Protection Tools definition

Protection Tools means end-to-end system and device protection and monitoring tools including fraud detection capability, such as anti-virus protection, white listing, tokenization, PCI-DSS scans, vulnerability testing, access control management, user access monitoring, data log tools, and database monitoring, as set out in Schedule G (Security).

Examples of Protection Tools in a sentence

  • The proof of delivery and proof of shipment requirements of PayPal’s Seller Protection program apply to the Chargeback Protection Tools and are adopted and incorporated by reference.

  • Fees for the Chargeback Protection Tools will vary depending on the Chargeback Protection Tool option you select.

  • The terms in Schedule 2 apply to your use of the Fraud Protection Tools.

  • The Chargeback Protection Tools do not apply to Chargeback claims, items or transactions that are ineligible for PayPal’s Seller Protection program (“Ineligible Transactions”).

  • PayPal reserves the right to change the integration and onboarding requirements applicable to the Chargeback Protection Tools from time to time in accordance with this Agreement.

  • PayPal may determine, in its sole discretion, which Merchants may enroll in and utilize the Chargeback Protection Tools.

  • Chargeback Protection Tools apply only to chargeback claims involving: (1) fraud, as determined by PayPal; or (2) transactions where the product was not received by the buyer, as determined by PayPal (collectively, “Eligible Chargebacks”).

  • Chargeback Protection Tools also do not apply to items or transactions that are ineligible for PayPal’s Seller Protection program (“Ineligible Transactions”).

Related to Protection Tools

  • Tools or “Tooling” means tools funded or provided by the Buyer.

  • Devices means (whether physical or virtual) a server, system, workstation, computer, mobile device, or end point upon which or through which the Services are used and/or on which the Software is installed.

  • Sewage works means all facilities for collecting, pumping, treating, and disposing of sewage.

  • Customer Technology means Customer's proprietary technology, including Customer's Internet operations design, content, software tools, hardware designs, algorithms, software (in source and object forms), user interface designs, architecture, class libraries, objects and documentation (both printed and electronic), know-how, trade secrets and any related intellectual property rights throughout the world (whether owned by Customer or licensed to Customer from a third party) and also including any derivatives, improvements, enhancements or extensions of Customer Technology conceived, reduced to practice, or developed during the term of this Agreement by Customer.

  • Information Technology Systems means all information technology systems, Software, computers, workstations, databases, routers, hubs, switches, networks and other information technology equipment used or held for use in, or otherwise relating to, the Business.
