Cost-effectiveness means the ability of a particular product or service to efficiently provide goods or services to the State. In determining the cost effectiveness of a particular product or service, the appropriate chief procurement officer shall list the relevant factors in the bid notice or solicitation and use only those listed relevant factors in determining the award.
Effectiveness refer to a Registration Statement that has been declared effective by the SEC and is available for the resale of the Registrable Securities required to be covered thereby.
Order Form Effective Date means the date on which an Order Form comes into effect as indicated in that Order Form.
Contract Effective Date ’ means the date agreed upon by the parties for be- ginning the period of performance under the contract. In no case shall the effective date precede the date on which the contracting officer or des- ignated higher approval authority signs the document. Costs incurred be- fore the contract effective date are un- allowable unless they qualify as precontract costs (see FAR 31.205–32) and the clause prescribed at 1831.205–70 is used.
Target Effective Date has the meaning specified in Section 2.01(a).
