Contract Effective Date definition

Contract Effective Date means the date agreed upon by the parties for beginning the period of performance under the contract. In no case shall the effective date precede the date on which the contracting officer or designated higher approval authority signs the document.
Contract Effective Date means the date noted in Block 28 of the SF 33, or as otherwise stated in the Contract or Contract Award Document.

  • If delays in the procurement process result in a change to the anticipated Contract Effective Date, the bidder agrees to accept a contract for the full term of the contract.
