Prime Field definition

Prime Field means the prevention, modification, improvement, amelioration or treatment of human disease (excluding sickle cell disease) (including cell-based therapies and the creation of one or more protective mutations) through administration of a product or service containing or incorporating a Prime Editing Agent that is not a Qualifying Prime Editing Agent, but excluding (a) the Beam Field, (b) the administration of any product or service containing or incorporating a Base Editor and (c) the Excluded Field. For clarity, the Prime Field includes products or services that contain or incorporate (i) at least one Prime Editing Agent that is not a Qualifying Prime Editing Agent and (ii) any other gene-editing approach (including other Prime Editing Agents, which may include one or more Qualifying Prime Editing Agents), subject to the exclusions in the foregoing clauses (a) through (c).
