Power System Operator definition

Power System Operator means the Authority acting in its capacity as the person responsible for ensuring the security of supply of electricity to consumers and arranging for the secure operation of the transmission system in accordance with the market rules and applicable codes of practice as described in Section 3(3)(e) of the Act;
Power System Operator or “PSO” means the Authority acting in its capacity as the person responsible for ensuring the security of supply of Electricity to consumers and arranging for the secure operation of the Transmission System as described in subsection 3(3)(e) of the Act;
Power System Operator means the agency responsible for the power system control.

More Definitions of Power System Operator

Power System Operator means the Authority exercising its function and duty in ensuring the security of supply of electricity to consumers and arranging for the secure operation of the transmission system in accordance with the market rules and applicable codes of practice as described in Section 3(3)(e) of the Act; “Regulatory Contract” means an agreement or arrangement which an electricity licensee is required, by a condition of this Licence, to enter into under Section 9(7)(a)(ii) of the Act; “related enterprisein relation to the Licensee or its subsidiary means any company or partnership over which the Licensee or its subsidiary, as the case may be (either directly or through another subsidiary company) is able to exercise control, that is, to direct the decision-making process of the company or partnership, whether through holding issued share capital or voting power of the company or partnership; “Relevant Legislation” means the Act and the Energy Market Authority of Singapore Act (Cap. 92B), and includes in each case the regulations made thereunder; “Supply Agreement” means the Supply Agreement referred to in paragraph 4 of Part I; “TNB” means Tenaga Nasional Berhad, a limited liability company with the address at No. 129, Jalan Bangsar, 59200 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (Company Registration No. 200866-W); and “Transmission Code” means the code of practice issued by the Authority that describes the minimum standards of performance which a transmission licensee and those electricity licensees subject to such code of practice are required to observe with respect to theprovision or use of transmission services.
