Plant factor/Capacity Factor definition

Plant factor/Capacity Factor means the net capacity factor/plant factor of a power plant. It is the ratio of its actual output over a period of time, to its potential output if it were possible for it to operate at full nameplate capacity continuously over the same period of time. Capacity factor can apply to an individual generating unit or any collection of generating units. Plant factor refers to the capacity factor of an entire generating facility including all available generating units;

  • Capacity factor means the ratio of the average load on a machine or equipment for the period of time considered to the capacity rating of the machine or equipment.

  • Load factor means the percentage of aircraft seats actually occupied on a flight (RPMs divided by ASMs). “NMB” means the National Mediation Board.

  • Power Factor means the ratio of usage power measured in kW to total power measured in kVA;

  • S&P Volatility Factor means 277% or such other potential dividend rate increase factor as S&P advises the Corporation in writing is applicable.
