Oxides of nitrogen definition

Oxides of nitrogen means the sum of the volume mixing ratio (ppbv) of nitrogen monoxide (nitric oxide) and nitrogen dioxide expressed in units of mass concentration of nitrogen dioxide (µg/m3);
Oxides of nitrogen means the sum of the nitric oxide and nitrogen dioxide contained in a gas sample as if the nitric oxide was in the form of nitrogen dioxide.
Oxides of nitrogen means compounds containing only nitrogen and oxygen as measured by the procedures specified in this regulation. Oxides of nitrogen are expressed quantitatively as if the NO is in the form of NO2, such that an effective molar mass is used for all oxides of nitrogen equivalent to that of NO2;

More Definitions of Oxides of nitrogen

Oxides of nitrogen or “NOx” means all oxides of nitrogen, except nitrous oxide, as measured by test methods approved by the Department and EPA, such as the test methods set forth at 40 CFR 60, Appendix A, methods 7 through 7E.
Oxides of nitrogen. (NOx) means compounds of nitric oxide, nitrogen dioxide, and other oxides of nitrogen. Nitrogen oxides are typically created during combustion processes and are major contributors to smog formation and acid deposition.
Oxides of nitrogen means the sum of nitric oxide and nitrogen dioxide added as parts per billion and expressed as nitrogen dioxide in micrograms per cubic meter;
Oxides of nitrogen or "NOx" means all oxides of nitrogen, including, but not limited to, nitrogen oxide and nitrogen dioxide, but excluding nitrous oxide, collectively expressed as molecular weight of nitrogen dioxide.
Oxides of nitrogen. (NOx) means compounds of nitric oxide, nitrogen dioxide, and other oxides of nitrogen. Nitrogen oxides are typically created
Oxides of nitrogen or “NOx” means all the oxides of nitrogen including, but not limited to, nitric oxide (NO) and nitrogen dioxide (NO2), except nitrous oxide (N2O).]
Oxides of nitrogen or “NOx” means air pollution usage comprised of nitric oxide and nitrogen dioxide nitrogen and oxygen compounds expressed as molecular weight of nitrogen dioxide.
