Overflow Sewer definition

Overflow Sewer means a pipe or conduit, with appurtenances, provided to carry some part of flow entering or within any sewer in excess of the capacity of that sewer, or some portion of the flow within said sewer. In general, overflow sewers will only exist or have been provided in connection with and for excess flows from combined sewers.
