Australian Tax Act means the Income Tax Assessment Axx 0000 of Australia and associated regulations and, where applicable, any replacement legislation including, but not limited to, the Income Tax Assessment Axx 0000 of Australia.
Tax Act means the Income Tax Act (Canada).
Canadian Tax Act means the Income Tax Act (Canada), as amended.
Income Tax Act means the Income Tax Act (Canada), as amended from time to time;
U.S. Tax Code means the United States Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended.
Excise Tax Act means the Excise Tax Act (Canada);
Ontario Health means the corporation without share capital under the name Ontario Health as continued under the CCA;”
Income Tax Regulations means the temporary and final regulations issued under the Code. Any citation to a section of the Income Tax Regulations includes a citation to any successor regulatory provision.
UK Bribery Act means the Xxxxxxx Xxx 0000 of the United Kingdom, as amended, and the rules and regulations thereunder.
Provincial Minister means the member of the Cabinet of the Province of Western Cape responsible for local government;
provincial department ’ means a department listed in Schedule 2 of the Public Service Act, 1994 (Proclamation No. 103 of 1994), which falls within a provincial administration listed in Schedule 1 to that Act; 10
Integrated Goods and Services Tax Act means the Integrated Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017;
Canada Business Corporations Act means the Canada Business Corporations Act, R.S.C. 1985, c. C-44, as amended, and the regulations made thereunder, and any comparable or successor laws or regulations thereto;
provincial legislation means legislation contemplated in section 10 of the Act promulgated by the Province;
Tax Ordinance means the Israeli Income Tax Ordinance [New Version], 1961, as amended, and any regulations, rules, orders or procedures promulgated thereunder.
Occupational Health and Safety Act means the Occupational Health and Safety Act, 1993 (Act No 85 of 1993);
United States Tax Person A citizen or resident of the United States, a corporation, partnership or other entity created or organized in, or under the laws of, the United States, any State thereof or the District of Columbia, an estate whose income from sources without the United States is includible in gross income for United States federal income tax purposes regardless of its source or a trust if a court within the United States is able to exercise primary supervision over the administration of the trust and one or more United States Tax Persons have the authority to control all substantial decisions of the trust, all within the meaning of Section 7701(a)(30) of the Code (or, to the extent provided in the applicable Treasury Regulations, certain trusts in existence on August 20, 1996 that have elected to be treated as United States Tax Persons).
Goods and Services Tax (Compensation to States) Act means the Goods and Services Tax (Compensation to States) Act, 2017;
Banking Act means the Banking Act 1959 (Cth).
Tax Legislation means, collectively, the Income Tax Act and all federal, provincial, territorial, municipal, foreign, or other statutes imposing a Tax, including all treaties, conventions, case law, interpretation bulletins, circulars and releases, rules, regulations, orders, and decrees of any jurisdiction.
Canada means the ten provinces of Canada, the Yukon Territory, the Districts and Islands comprising the Northwest Territories of Canada and Nunavut.
UK Bail-in Legislation means Part I of the UK Banking Xxx 0000 and any other law or regulation applicable in the UK relating to the resolution of unsound or failing banks, investment firms or other financial institutions or their affiliates (otherwise than through liquidation, administration or other insolvency proceedings).
Australian Corporations Act means the Corporations Act 2001 of Australia;
Council Regulation means the Regulation of the Council of the European Union Setting up the "ECSEL Joint Undertaking", with No. 561/2014/EU.
Ontario Act means the Securities Act (Ontario);
Bribery Act means the Xxxxxxx Xxx 0000 and any subordinate legislation made under that Act from time to time together with any guidance or codes of practice issued by the relevant government department concerning the legislation.
