Online education definition

Online education means the use of information and communication technologies to deliver educational opportunities to a student in a location other than a school.

Online education or "distance learning" means an option for earning course credit at off-campus locations via cable television, Internet, (telecommunication) satellite classes, videotapes, correspondence courses, or other means.
