Offsite mitigation definition

Offsite mitigation means mitigation occurring outside of the project area. “Onsite mitigation” means mitigation occurring within the project area.
Offsite mitigation means wetland restoration, creation, enhancement, or preservation occurring farther than one mile from a project boundary, but within the same watershed.
