Official action means a decision, recommendation, approval, disapproval or other action or failure to act which involves the use of discretionary authority.
Official Gazette means the Official Gazette of the Government;
Official act or "official action" means a vote, decision, recommendation, approval, disapproval, or other action, including inaction, that involves the use of discretionary authority.
Official Seal means the original(s) of the VA seal showing the exact form, content, and colors thereof.

Tribal Entity means a federally-recognized tribal entity performing tribal governmental functions and eligible for funding and services from the U.S. Department of Interior by virtue of its status as an Indian tribe.
Applicable Public Official or State Employee means any public official or state employee described in
Official stamp means a physical image affixed to or embossed on a tangible record or an electronic image attached to or logically associated with an electronic record.
Official Image means an electronic image of an Eligible Bill, either created in accordance with the provisions of this Agreement or that otherwise complies with the requirements to permit negotiation and clearing of that Eligible Bill in accordance with the by-laws, standards, or Rules of the Canadian Payments Association.

Special Entity means any joint venture, limited liability company or partnership, general or limited partnership or any other type of partnership or company other than a corporation in which the Borrower or one or more of its other Subsidiaries is a member, owner, partner or joint venturer and owns, directly or indirectly, at least a majority of the equity of such entity or controls such entity, but excluding any tax partnerships that are not classified as partnerships under state law. For purposes of this definition, any Person which owns directly or indirectly an equity investment in another Person which allows the first Person to manage or elect managers who manage the normal activities of such second Person will be deemed to "control" such second Person (e.g. a sole general partner controls a limited partnership).
Official Body means any government or political subdivision or any agency, authority, bureau, central bank, commission, department or instrumentality of either, or any court, tribunal, grand jury or arbitrator, in each case whether foreign or domestic.
Non-federal entity means a state, local government, Indian tribe, institution of higher education, or nonprofit organization that carries out a federal award as a recipient or subrecipient.
Judicial Authority means any court, arbitrator, special master, receiver, tribunal or similar body of any kind.
Official sample means a sample of feed taken by the director in accordance with section 7. (ee) "Percent" or "percentage" means the percentage by weight.

Official Plan means the Official Plan adopted for the Township, as amended and approved;

Official Order means an order issued on the Contractor, whether on paper or by electronic means, which conveys the essential details of a particular service requirement under the Contract and includes any methods of ordering the Services specifically, referred to in the Contract.
Official use means use by an employee, agent, or designated representative of the Federal Government or one of its contractors in the course of his employment, agency, or representation.
Official record means the record prepared and maintained by the department for each offender and juvenile received into the physical care and custody of the department. The record shall include, but is not limited to, written, printed, or electronic materials, documents, or data pertaining to services, programs, and all other official actions performed on behalf of that offender or juvenile. These records are identified by the same offender or juvenile name as received on the commitment order, assigned a department number as an identifier, and compiled and maintained as part of an offender/juvenile packet.
Official fees means the fees required by law to be paid to the appropriate public officer for obtaining any permit or filing or recording or releasing any judgment, mortgage, or other lien or perfecting any security interest taken or reserved as security in connection with a home improvement installment contract.
