Tribal Entity definition

Tribal Entity means a federally-recognized tribal entity performing tribal governmental functions and eligible for funding and services from the U.S. Department of Interior by virtue of its status as an Indian tribe.
Tribal Entity means an entity, other than a single Resident Tribal Member or an entity wholly owned by the Tribe, that is wholly owned by any combination of the Tribe and its Resident Tribal Members, or is wholly owned by its Resident Tribal Members.

Examples of Tribal Entity in a sentence

  • If a Tribal Certificate of Exemption is issued to a Resident Tribal Member or Tribal Entity, the Resident Tribal Member or Tribal Entity shall present the Certificate (together with the Letter of Authorization) to the vendor or contractor at the point of purchase.

  • Where the State has issued a Final Assessment with respect to the use of a Tribal Certificate of Exemption by a Tribal Member or Tribal Entity after termination of this Agreement and the assessment remains unpaid for 60 days after its issuance.
